Anyone who knows me knows that I am not a person who likes to have attention drawn to me and am a bit too humble and self-deprecating for my own good. So today we're taking a break from our regularly scheduled program and shining a light on me!!!! If you check out Sew4Home today you'll see a great big profile on me!
I was lucky enough to meet the marvelous sisters who run Sew4Home when I was attending The Creative Connection Event back in September. We first started chatting during class on our first day and kept in touch throughout the event and once we got back to our respective homes. I absolutely adore their site and the fantastic, totally doable projects and how they inspire and empower others to create projects to dress up their homes.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, Spoonflower is helping me out with a little giveaway! YAY!!!! If you'd like to have a chance at winning one-yard of one of my designs at Spoonflower, just leave a comment following this post in response to the following question in the spirit of Thanksgiving:
"What are you most thankful for this year?"
Just leave your comment no later than noon Central Time on Sunday, November 14. I'll draw one winner from all the entries and announce the winner on Monday, November 15. Once the winner is announced, I'll have the specifics of how to choose your fabric and place your order with Spoonflower. In the meantime, you can start browsing my fabrics at Spoonflower and deciding which you'll choose if you're the winner!
Family! Those wonderful people in my life have either given me a reason or the inspiration to sew.
ReplyDeleteI am most thankful for my family. I have a wonderful husband and 4 great boys. Add in there 2 daughter-in-laws and my precious little grandson. Nothing could be better!
ReplyDeleteI'm so thankful that I have a hobby that I love--quilting!!!!
I'm thankful for my family and for living in this wonderful country. (And my stash.) Your new fabrics are delicious, and I'd love to have some here :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd lucky you, getting to see George so upclose and personal, mmmmmmmmmmm.
I'm very thankful for all of the wonderful family and friends in my life. I am so blessed!
ReplyDeleteThis year I think that everyone should pause and be thankful for everything they have-their health, their loving family, their home, their job, their freedom to give thanks! These are the major things, just think of the possibilities of the minor things we enjoy every day!!
ReplyDeleteMy mom passed away this last year, and so family has become even more important. I am thankful for the time I get to spend with my family, each day is a gift.
ReplyDeleteLike everyone-family. In particular, my kids - that I'm having to let go to grow up. That's the hardest. My eldest got a job, no small feat in this economy. And my youngest left for college. He has a disability, and we weren't quite sure we'd see this day. Having helped him for so long, it's so hard to let him be on his own. But we're so, so thankful he has made it this far.
ReplyDeleteI'm grateful for who I am today and I couldn't have done it without my family and friends! I've been posting everyday on facebook what I'm grateful for and it is so wonderful to do that. I've even got a few people doing it along with me! thanks for the beautiful things you do and the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for my little internet-Shop with my own works. This was my big wish this year :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm most thankful for the people who enter into my life, even for just a moment.
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for family, that support me with love and don't put down my creative needs.
ReplyDeleteTammy, I'm just so darned proud of you! So glad to know you're getting the recognition your talent deserves! And thanks for this giveaway. I'm extremely grateful for grandchildren, the most recent one born Nov. 6. I know I'm too young to be a grandma (tee, hee), but I am, and I thoroughly love it. Blessings to you!
ReplyDeleteMy sisters, of course. But also all the other positive people who touch my life in "the real world" and in cyberspace. Being online has really opened up my world and put me in touch with lots of wonderful people I wouldn't have met otherwise.
ReplyDeleteAnd looking through my fabric stash I'm really thankful for having the means to aquire fabric and the time to spend being creative with it :-)
I'm so thankful to have become a mother this year. My beautiful son is pure joy and parenting has transformed my life into something much much richer than I could have ever imagined!
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for a job that I enjoy. It makes it so much easier to go to work each day when I know that I am making a difference in the lives of others.
ReplyDeleteI am so very thankful for my daughter's health and for all the people who helped her over the past two years. These same people helped strengthen our family bond - love can conquer all!
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for so many things, my husband, my four beautiful, wonderful, talented children, my house, my job; and so much more. However, the thing I am most thankful for is that Jesus Christ died for me, and I can experience God's love in my life.
ReplyDeleteSo glad I found you! Although I am thankful for all the wonderful blogs I read (they have opened up a new world for me!) I am thankful-est for my lovely family and the fact that we can celebrate another Thanksgiving together. And I'm thankful for this give away!
